Start Times
Where
The race compound and finish are located at Queens Wharf Boat ramp Morpeth off Queens Wharf Rd Morpeth. Please park in the St Johns College grounds and walk to the race compound to collect your race number. The start will be a 300m walk into Swan St Morpeth. Please marshal in the park near the Bridge. Note that some triathletes will be completing the course and the river side of Swan St is closed to traffic. Be careful crossing any part of Swan St.
Course
Both courses will start at the park next to the Morpeth bridge. They will both run east along Swan St keeping to the left and run until the intersection of Brisbane Fields Rd, where the 4km will return and the 8km will run further to a turn point on Brisbane Fields Rd. The courses then both return along Swan St, on the same side and turn right at George St and then left to enter the track along the riverbank. Note the ground is not perfectly level here. The course then proceeds under the bridge and along the river bank to the race compound and then through the race compound and out into the farms along Queens Wharf Rd until a turning point, then returns to the finsih chute at the finish area. Categories - Age will be at 10 Oct 2010

4km is for children 8 years +. Age categories are 8-9y,10-11y,12-13y,14-15y and 16-17y, then adults 18-29y and then 10 year age groups

8km is for children 10 years +. Age categories are 10-11y,12-13y,14-15y and 16-17y, then adults 18-29y and then 10 year age groups

Prizes
Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in each category. We are currently procuring Hunter Valley produce for other prizes.

Race weekend entries are possible from 1.00-4.30pm on Saturday or from 7.30am -9.30am on race day, at the race compound. Race weekend is cash only.
Race Kit Collection
At the Race Compound, Queens Wharf Morpeth on Saturday 2.00-4.30pm and Sunday from 7.30 - 9.30am. Leave time to get to the start in Swan St near the bridge.watch for runners and cyclists.
